Seriously...FUNNY!

Okay, so I know Lucca and probably Shan will kill me but I couldn't resist. We didn't do laundry soon enough so we ran out of cloth diapers. We only had a newborn diaper around so what were we do to. He had it on for a couple hours and when I went to change it this is what I found. I never thought diapers could look like thongs but seriously....Sumo Lucca.

We have lots of photos to post from Lucca's party but these especially make me smile. Luccas expression in the second one is just hilarious. He looks so defeated!

1. you love it when someone copies what you are doing and are so proud to show off your tricks
2. you love being held and wrap your arms around like a little kuala.
3. everything must go in mouth
4. you like to hold hands while eating
5. you often put your hand in my mouth and leave it there while nursing
6. you are jumpy and spook easily
7. your favorite toy is a person
8. you love to suck your toes
9. your dad thinks you love butras butras gali
10. dad makes up songs all the time to sing to you
11. you tolerate but don't particularly love the car, stroller, crib or really anything that doesn't have a heartbeat.
12. you are more stubborn than mom and dad together
13. your first word was da da da da da da da
14. you hate hats, sunglasses or anything covering your eyes
15. you have the most beautiful BIG brown eyes which often stops people to coo at you!
16. you smile all the time, even when tired, hungry and teething
17. your just getting in your first two teeth
18. both mom and dad love to get in their morning snuggles with you
19. you've already skied three times...much to your fight.
20. you have one dimple on your left side
21. you drool so much your clothes are constantly soaked
22. you wake us up at 4:00am by practicing all your tricks. blowing bubbles, da-da-da-da-da and sticking out your tongue. it's your secret play time.
23. you make your mommy and daddy the happiest they've ever been. despite being needy like mommy, temperamental like daddy and stubborn like mommy and daddy, you have the sweetest, happiest most expressive and contagious personality.

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit last weekend and we had such a great time! It makes me so homesick watching them play with Lucca -- he instantly loved them!

I'm a Photographer!

I got a new camera for Christmas and have been trying to perfect my photography skills ever since. When I saw this photo from Cassie Allred I thought this would be a beautiful photo to try to recreate.
