I always loved to celebrate my mother. One of my best memories of Mothers Day was dressing taking her to brunch in the most hideous outfit we found at the Salvation Army. Why we ever thought that was honoring her I don't know. But she laughed, she played along and she ate her waffles like she was in name brand clothes. That's my mom. She is everything that's good about me. She's why I like clothes, she's why I can't ever eat just one cookie, she's why I cry a lot, she's why I have horrible bed head, she's why I work endlessly at my family, she's why I have patience, she's why I believe in happily ever after and she's why I'm a good mom.
Like I said, I always loved to celebrate my mother, but this year I have a new appreciation for how easy she makes it look!
